Murray Cowper MLA recently presented the Pinjarra RSL with a $4400 boost for their club, received through the ANZAC Day Working Group Small Grants Scheme. 

The club will use the money to go towards a public address system for commemorative occasions. 

“It is one of my strongest beliefs that the ANZAC values of mateship, endurance and courage need to be continually recognised and promoted in our community to counter the increasing consumerism perpetuated in the media,” he said.

“The Returned And Services League is a vital components in keeping these traditions and core Australian values alive and is therefore highly deserving of grants such as this.”
